Hey all,
First off, sorry about the lack of activity... really haven't been into much lately, and the past two weeks have been crazy with catching up on stuff and exams... anyhow, onto the image: while working on Plane Crash III, I came up with this sky, which begged to be turned into another seascape.. so, voila. One thing all my previous seascapes have in common is that the cameras are all in a rather boring, standard, low to the ground position, facing straight.. so I wanted to try something else, something new, something different. 3ds max 8, Dreamscape 2.5, an hour of work or so, 25 minute render @ 2048x1536. Bit of Photoshop post: colors, lighting, contrast, border... all the little stuff. Comments/crits welcome as usual... enjoy!  |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.  reports, 1d 19h agoThis newsletter was "born" back in March 2007, from a conversation between ~Lareth and =FrozenStarRo, who with the help of their friends *Iardacil and *Sylwiaa , wanted to make something to promote known and unknown photomanipulators alike here on DeviantArt. As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. |
